Steffo Shambo

Steffo’s pull toward service started young — a fascination with the mysterious and unknown, and questions about the nature of reality, truth, and the meaning of life that his home country couldn’t answer.

In 2007 he set out on a pilgrimage that would last more than a decade. He traveled to over 21 countries, lived in several spiritual communities, and studied at the feet of teachers including Sadhguru, Mooji, and Prem Baba.

After four years of nonstop seeking, Steffo discovered traditional Yoga in the foothills of the Himalayas and began studying esoteric yogic philosophy and practice. He still returns to India every year to continue that study, and has completed a four-year, 950-hour accredited curriculum in Yoga study and practice.

He is a Yoga Alliance certified and registered Yoga Teacher (RYS-500), having completed a 500-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in 2014.
